The 1st key area of support related to Support Friends™ is "Music!"
Music was selected as the 1st key area of support because of the musical background of David Bryant, aka "Mr. Support Friend," and his passion to support music artists, music fans and music professionals.
When asked why music was selected as the 1st key area of support related to the Support Friends™ concept, David provided the following answer:
"Music was selected as the 1st key area because it has the ability to bring people together regardless of where they live, how old they are, what their background is, or what language they speak. Having experienced a certain level of success in the music industry I understand how important it is for people associated with the creative and business sides of music to develop new contacts, educate and empower themselves with information, network with others and raise awareness about their creative projects. I also understand how important music fans are to music artists and the Support Friends™ concept is designed to encourage music artists, music fans and music professionals to support each other. I love music and enjoy passing on the knowledge I have gained over the years to others, as well as learning from others who are involved with music and the arts in general."

I know it would be impossible to list every musical talent in the world on this site.
However, here are a few talented independent music artists, major label artists, music legends and/or Music Support Friends that I wanted to thank, support, recognize and raise awareness for.
TONE is only 26 and has already worked with some of the biggest names in music including CARLOS SANTANA, GREEN DAY, GWEN STEFANI and THE BLACK EYED PEAS! He has also produced and co-written for some very talented up and coming artists including TAYLOR LEE, CHANTELLE PAIGE, THE LOOK, NYA JADE and MINUTES TOO FAR who you can listen to on his MySpace page. What I love about TONE is that he has NO EGO, yet he's very CONFIDENT and can write and produce for many different styles which I believe will make him one of most sought after SONGWRITER/PRODUCERS in the business.
CHANTELLE PAIGE just graduated high school with a 4.1 GPA and has a bright future ahead of her. Not only is she a BEAUTIFUL PERSON ON THE OUTSIDE, she is also a BEAUTIFUL PERSON ON THE INSIDE! She reached Number 2 on the Myspace unsigned artist chart in LESS THAN 1 WEEK with her song "THINGS I DO" that was produced and co-written by TONE. In addition to being a music artist and songwriter, she is also a model, actress, dancer and volunteer for BIG SISTERS! Set to release her first EP this spring, look for Chantelle to have a BIG YEAR IN 2006!
TAYLOR LEE is a super talented 18 year old singer/songwriter who's been performing since she was 6. Taylor is working behind the scenes with her producer TONE on songs for her project and has already generated serious interest from key major label executives. Taylor has all the talent and qualities necessary to be a successful "ROCKSTAR!"
KITANA is one of those rare a magical people in the world. She is the person who introduced me to MySpace and I am very thankful she did. She is a natural singer/songwriter and one of the most positive people I know. In 2006 you will be hearing much more from her. My favorite song of her's is "FOREVER PRECIOUS!" It's not on her MySpace page at the moment, but it is my personal favorite.
CORRINNE MAY has the voice of an Angel! Her song and title track for her latest CD "SAFE IN A CRAZY WORLD" showcases her beautiful voice, piano playing and spirit. CORRINNE is an artist who understands the importance of DYNAMICS, a lost artform with many of today's music artists. I am sure you will enjoy listening to the songs on Corrinne's CD.In addition, if you are looking for a "GREAT BIRTHDAY GIFT" I encourage you to buy a copy of "SAFE IN A CRAZY WORLD." Corrinne has a SPECIAL BIRTHDAY SONG on the CD that is absolutely fantastic! And oh yes, make sure to visit her web site. She has some wonderful INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES that appear on each page!
RACHEL GRIFFIN - Rachel is amazing! She's an EMOTIONAL STORYTELLER through her voice, piano playing and songs with a passion to make a difference in the world. Her piano arrangements are off the hook! One thing I love about Rachel is that she understands DYNAMICS which has become somewhat of a lost artform with today's generation of music artists. But not Rachel! For her current album "I'M UP TO NO GOOD" she recorded 22 songs in 2 hours, 19 on the 1st take, 3 on the 2nd take, and selected 15 for the CD. Now that is TALENT! She is truly one of a kind and ONE OF MY FAVORITE UP AND COMING MUSIC ARTISTS!
RONNIE DAY is living proof that if you believe in yourself and go after your dreams, your dreams can come true! Ronnie knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life and so he decided to put all of his eggs in the music basket and GO FOR IT! Ronnie is all talent, all emotion and a great, great songwriter. He speaks the TRUTH through his music. As he says in his song "Outside" "I'm honest as a Photobooth!" Look for big things from Ronnie is 2006!
DANA PARISH... Ahhh what a wonderful singer/songwriter Dana is. Her pop, acoustic, soulful voice is a treat to listen to. Dana really sings from her heart and understands dynamics really well. My favorite song on her CD is "OUTTA TIME!" She has a brilliant line in that song about DONNY HATHAWAY! I'm sure Donny is smiling at you Dana. Keep sharing your musical vibration with the world because you are a joy to listen to! :-)
GOOT is one of the most talented young music artists I have crossed paths with here on Myspace. He's only 17 and is TOTALLY SELF-CONTAINED! He SINGS, WRITES, ENGINEERS, PRODUCES & PLAYS ALL THE INSTRUMENTS HIMSELF! He's like a young Punk Rock STEVIE WONDER or PRINCE! The dude is SUPER TALENTED and SUPER HUMBLE too! In addition to that, he plays in a band with his friends. He is the ULTIMATE MUSICIAN! Check out "WAY OUT" and "I LOVE YOUR EXISTENCE!" You can't teach natural talent and GOOT's GOT IT!
JOHN HEGNER is a very special music artist with a larger purpose and intention in life. He is more than just a music artist with great songs. John's music has within it a message of LOVE! My favorite song of his is "ARMS OF LOVE" which he wrote right after 9/11. His song "GREEN TEA" is also amazing. I highly recommend adding him to your friends list.
JULIET LLOYD has a beautiful voice and a beautiful spirit to match. Her song "LULLABY" is a classic! I predict big things for that song one day. It is a true GEM and so is Juliet. She sings, plays, writes and arranges everything and is the nicest person on top of all her talent. Juliet is an artist who will be around for a long time to come.
KYLE MANN is the most unique artist I have crossed paths with on MySpace. He is on his way to becoming the next Dave Matthews! A music artist that everyone will want to see perform LIVE! He is only 19, in college, and along with his 2 friends they are "THE KYLE MANN COMBO!" KYLE is a FREE SPIRIT! He thinks outside the box and has his own sound. His imagination and energy is amazing! He plays the piano upside down in his shows and switches instruments in the middle of some songs. Plus, he's a cool guy! EGO FREE! Humble and grateful. My kinda music artist! Definitely one to watch in 2006 and beyond!
NATALIE BROWN is a wonderful music artist with so much soul and good intention. Simply put, Natalie can sing with the best of them. Her lead and background vocals are as good as it gets! She is also one of the most positive, giving people I know and is a big supporter of other music artists who are trying to make it. I can't wait to hear what she comes out with in 2006. Whatever it is you can bet it will be the goods!
